Equipment​ and Infrastructure Grants

The Equipment and Infrastructure Grant is designed to provide non-profit organizations, local government organizations, and private/public schools that operate within incorporated and unincorporated communities within the County of Sacramento are eligible to apply with the necessary resources to acquire, upgrade, or maintain essential equipment, technology, and facilities vital to their operations and fulfilling their mission. The scope includes equipment purchases, technology upgrades, facility improvements, furniture and fixtures, storage solutions, communication systems, maintenance and repairs, audio and AV equipment, accessibility enhancements, environmental sustainability, documentation and tracking systems.

Examples of allowable activities:

  • Equipment Purchases: Expenses related to acquiring new or replacement equipment that are crucial for the organization's operations.
  • Technology Upgrades: Costs associated with upgrading or purchasing software, hardware, and technology infrastructure to enhance the organization's efficiency and productivity.
  • Facility Improvements: Expenses for renovating or improving physical facilities.
  • Furniture and Fixtures: Costs for purchasing or upgrading furniture, fixtures, and fittings necessary for the organization's functionality.
  • Storage Solutions: Expenses related to acquiring storage solutions to organize and protect assets.
  • Communication Systems: Costs for improving communication infrastructure.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Expenses for ongoing maintenance, repairs, and servicing of equipment and facilities.
  • Audio-Visual Equipment: Costs for purchasing or upgrading audio-visual equipment for presentations, events, and educational purposes.
  • Accessibility Enhancements: Expenses for making facilities and equipment more accessible to individuals with disabilities.
  • Environmental Sustainability: Costs for implementing eco-friendly infrastructure, renewable energy systems, and sustainable practices.
  • Documentation and Tracking Systems: Expenses for acquiring or upgrading software and systems that help track, manage, and document organizational activities and assets.

Be prepared to provide detailed justifications for each expense and demonstrate how it will directly contribute to your organization's mission and goals.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Non-profit organizations, local government organizations, students, and private/public schools that operate within incorporated and unincorporated communities within the County of Sacramento are eligible to apply.​

  • The project should align with the goals and mission of the granting organization​.
